For the reverse fold at 8:46 , I used tweezers to softly and progressively pinch and form the inside flap. It particularly helped me because it let me both fold this inside flap to the side while simultaneously collapsing the greater owl flap with the beak on it back into the body of the owl. It's a tough fold and a jump in difficulty but well worth it in my opinion. Made this with 7.5x7.5 cm one side green and other side gold foil so that the owls eyes would be gold and they turned out absolutely gorgeous!!! 🥰🥰🥰

Been doing origami for years. Now fold super complex models but this to date is still one of my fave models. It captures such emotion that not even super complex can do. A genius model. You should do more Jacky

Hi 你好呀，我叫 Michael Lau ，我係香港一個獨木舟活動小組嘅搞手，如果你有睇米紙可能會見過我，我吔用果款獨木舟叫做 oru kayak 係用摺紙方式把平面物料摺做獨木舟嘅，依個獨木舟小組已經有七年，過去每年中秋節都有特別活動，兩年前我開始用你原創嘅兔仔摺紙做咗啲燈籠在中秋節特別活動之中，增加活動氣氛。 我自己係一個時裝設計師，小朋友時代已經好喜歡摺紙，讀時裝設計嘅時候其中一個學期嘅 project 就係以摺紙嘅方式做啲特別形狀嘅服裝，好多年前已經有睇你嘅 RUclips channel 依個兔仔盒子係我最鍾意嘅摺紙，當年我讀緊時裝設計已經立刻用布加不織布摺咗一個特大嘅兔仔盒子用嚟裝我嗰啲針線同鉸剪，之後又想用嚟做燈籠，不過一直沒有做，去到兩年前中秋節想買一個精美嘅兔仔燈籠，發覺市面上嘅兔仔燈籠都比較粗製濫造而且又貴又唔靚，所以決心自己用摺紙兔仔盒子做，因為想帶去中秋節嘅獨木舟活動玩所以找到一種膠質牛油紙摺，果次做咗八個兔仔燈籠，帶咗去獨木舟活動仲可以浮起做水燈，不過依種牛油紙比較軟身，好容易變形，而吊起兔仔都唔容易。 第二年找到一種比較硬身嘅膠質柔光紙，摺出來嘅兔仔比較好，要吊起兔仔就要做一個內部結構，另外亦都加咗一個頂蓋同尾巴，不過個內部結構就令到兔仔上重下輕浮起之後就反艇，而且個內部結構亦都影響咗兔仔嘅形狀，結果唔係好理想，另外如果要換電就要拆開個內部結構非常複雜。 去到今年我就早啲開始試驗唔同嘅做法同內部結構，終於做到一個各方面都比較理想嘅結果，又唔影響兔仔嘅形狀，又可以四平八穩咁浮水，換電又唔洗拆開內部結構，所以我覺得非常滿意。 今年由於經濟不景氣，我希望可以做少量摺紙燈籠義賣為獨木舟活動小組籌募資金，希望得到你嘅同意。

Your origamis Is the best

For anyone else who's trying to fold it and having trouble, try bigger paper. I tried with 8.5x8.5 inch paper (from a normal letter size) and struggled a lot. Especially for my first successful attempt, using 11x11 square was very helpful. A cheap source of this is 11x17 people available at printer supply stores. It's a really clever origami

Very cute indeed! It's not easy, so I encourage everyone to practice a lot making this one. And if it's still difficult, maybe try with easier ones. Very well explained, since it's not my level, I had to pause and go back a lot of times. But I was still able to do it! Definetly want to try again and again until I get my perfect cute mouse!
